This vacation home is located in a fantastic area
with many attractions and things to do. Grandfather mountain can
be seen from the back porch of the Chalet. Tweetsie railroad is
close by for the little ones, Mast General Store is a must to
visit, Catfish Ponds for fishing, nearby white water rafting,
(4) ski resorts within 8 miles, golfing and skiing out your back
door. Many excellent places to eat out and streams to picnic by.
Towns close by are Boone, Banner Elk, Linville, and Vallie Crusis.
This
is truly a beautiful and scenic place to visit. Just bring your
food, unless you are going to eat out all the time, and you are
ready to have an enjoyable time at Browning's Haven.
